B32-8s are original. They are also backwards (set up long hood forward). They wre being used around here for Jersey intermodal, but they have since disappeared. Every once in a while you see one being used for a yard switcher.
The conrail engine was probably a C40-8 or B40-8. (I think NS sold or traded their share of B40-8s to CSX a while back). They're still out and about. C39-8s on NS keep going into storage (but every once in awhile they bounce a couple out for service).
