My favorites were CN 1700 series RSC14s! I used to glue my nose to the screen door when I was a kid watching them work the branchline that went past my house.

That isn't a bad looking locomotive.

I wish I could an HO model! If someone decide to make them I'd probably buy half a dozen or so. Ironically Broadway Limited now sells their RSD15 in CN paint with the RSC14 numbers.Dunce [D)]

Unfortunatly that's likely as close as we're going to get Thumbs Down [tdn] Then again trueline may do it, they had mulled it over when they brought out the Proto RS10's and 18's,it would require some changes to the master mold, but should be doable,I'd by two or three myself if they did.

My all time favorite is from the fallen flag WAG RR, I really liked the F7's  that the railroad ran, dressed in orange and cream paint.

My favorite engine that is operating is the ALCo C424 and the particular unit I fav the most is running on the WNYP at this time, but labeled under the LA&L family name LA&L #424

My favourite locomotive is an 0-6-0 Hudswell Clark built in 1924 for Slough Estates (England) which is preserved and working on the Swindon and Cricklade Railway in Wiltshire. I'd like to post a picture on here but I don't know how! Help. It's on my avator though.

Anything ALCO, especially RS3, T6, and RS-11 through the M-640. Wish Alco could have made the the cut, and still be building locomotives today.

Has to be the AC4400 in CP colours, that was the final straw that got me back into the hobby.

My first choice is the SD70ACe with a Ferromex paint scheme. Next is probably the SD40 and the SD40-2 Snoot with a Santa Fe paint scheme. I wish Kato would make the SD70ACe in N-scale. Kato makes the SD90-43 MAC, but the Evolution series is quite a bit different. I'll have to learn to scratch build one I guess.

Just find a picture you like in a 4x3 format (i.e. 640x480, 800x600 etc) and upload it as your avatar in your profile.  When you click on "Update Profile" above, you will be taken to your profile and from there, scroll down until you see 'Avatar'.  Click on the 'Yes' for Enable, and then use 'Browse..." to find the picture on your hard drive that you want to use.  Click 'update' and your avatar will now be the picture you want - the F40C for example.

The picture that's in my message body is hosted offline, in my case, on my personal web site.  I use the img tags to link it.

EMD GP-9. Just has a nice look about it. A classic like its twin, the GP-7.
