Morning All, and a VERY Happy B-Day [bday] to Ed! Hope you have a great one, Ed!

Well, I like the new digs. Thanks Jim for getting us off and rolling. How are you and Duchess doing?

Well, spent the last couple days doing a mix of railfanning and hiking at a couple state parks. Should probably get some pictures up today as it looks like Weatherman Willy has sent us quite a bit of rain. Can you turn it off for tomorrow, Willy?

Well, must be on my way. Hope you all havea great day, and a very Happy and SAFE 2007!

.....And nonwinter continues....and Willy if you can control any of it please just keep it going.  47.3 degrees as we look in here this morning.  But it is doing a pretty good rain.  Sure glad that's not snow.

Once again, truck gets it's clean wash job smeared but can't complain....haven't even had the winter tires installed yet...nor put any of the special sand bag weights into the very back of it...

Finally, this weather has done something right here in Omaha. We currently have 2 - 5 inches of fresh powder on the ground with another inch coming before it ends. It's about time!

CopCar and Modelcar - I will try to honor your weather requests, but the weather machine in the back room has been acting up lately, so I can't guarantee anything. Wink [;)]

I wonder where Ed is? He has to come in and celebrate his birthday with everyone.

Say, since the old one is being locked anyways... and I assume it is still going to exist as a thread... how about a link to the old diner from the first post?

Oh yeah, and Jay, what was that post of yours supposed to say???

And finally, I've learned something with the forum's current configuration: If you don't want a double-space between your lines (in other words, you only want a new line, and not a new paragraph), use SHIFT+ENTER to go down a single line...

Wow - this place has been packed today!

CW - had to give the elves what was left of the chocolate cake, but they were worth it.  Hope you can have a replacement ready by the time Ms Mook makes it back in.

Men are from Mars Department:  Give a wife a vacuum cleaner for her birthday and you may as well head for the dog house.  Give a man a leaf blower and he'll be occupied for hours....

Happy Birthday, Ed!

Y'all party smart tonight, hear!

.....Unusual to celebrate a new year coming in and adding another year to one's count....But that's the way one wants it to keep happening.

So have a good time with the family for your celebration tonight Ed...{That's Houston Ed}.

Funny how that works, huh?

Big Q, gonna spend the night snuggled up with the wife and kids on the couch, watching movies and enjoying it all.

You guys stay safe, thanks for the birthday wishes, thanks to the cook for the wondeful dinner.

Happy Birthday younger (by 6 months) feller!

Just used the shop-vac to pick up the bazillion pine needles left on the floor as Mr. X-mastree departed for the curb. (or where the curb should be)...waterrunning down the street at this hour is causing some concern here. Hope we are not celebrating new years with the water department boyz on double OT....

Happy B-Day [bday], Ed, and many more.  Just got back from a quick jaunt to Chicagoland, and a nice dinner with Carl and Pat this afternoon.  I'll be back tomorrow to move my recliner in and hang a picture or two on the wall that I got today thanks to Carl.  The snow is just starting here tonight, but I hope we get enough to turn things white around here!

Hey Everyone,

Just like LM said, we have some great news here at the house. I sent him an email out as soon as we got home today.

Our daughter was born Friday Dec. 29 at 9:45pm. She weighed 9.02 lbs. and was 19-3/4" long. She has 2 big brothers welcoming her home. Everything is going great. Just really different to have a little one around, but it's fantastic. She is a precious gift from the Lord above. My little angel.

Everyone have a Happy New Year!! I know I don't reply much on the forums, but I read through the forums every night.

Evening all...

I'm beginning to think it would be better if I had asked Santa for a set of Super Swamper Boggers for the truck, what with all the rain that has fallen over the past few weeks.  At least I could play in the mud.....

Got a digital camera for Christmas, specifically a Kodak EasyShare C743, very nice for a point-and-shoot camera, I don't need anything very fancy.  Might have to get an account with rrpicturearchives to show off some of the work.

Like the new place, I see it's been packed since the grand opening.  Got some new music for the jukebox, picked up some Bo Diddley, John Lee Hooker, and B.B. King while getting a memory card for the camera.

Well, Happy Birthday Ed, Happy new year to all, and see everyone later, going back to watch the Hee Haw marathon on TV.
