I would have to say any ALCo C-630 (not C-630M) riding on Hi-AD trucks, that is one mean lookin' loco! [:D][;)] And like you Bryan, I am a big fan of the Frisco 1522, but then again I am a St. Louis resident, so its only natural. And I, along with others, was greatly saddened when high insurance rates caused the indefinate shut down of the 1522 program. [:(][V]

Any F45 or FP45 or SD45 or SDP45, or any of the E's from E8 to E9 or the F's from F3 to F9 and the
FL9 and all FP older variations. Some of the roads SD7 and 9 are ok as well. I like the older stuff better than the new...they had more character than the new ones.

My favorite locomotive have to be any product of the Illinois Central's Paducah shop. More importantlty the SW-14 and the GP-11. Both are really neat. I would also have to say any steam locomotive that is still running around.

Thank you. I knew it was something along those lines, but I just couldn't remember. I see them quite a bit when I'm at the Council Bluffs Rock Island depot when they run stuff over to the UP

My favorite locos are:
STEAM: Cotton Belt 819
DIESEL: Anything owned by Midsouth Rail Corp. (GP10s, GP9s, GP18s, CF7s)
All of LNW's F7s (They are all gone now, most still operating elsewhere or getting
restored)

To me, any non-turbo charged diesel sounds like a REAL workhorse!
