Hi, I was railfanning in Reading too. I saw the engines on November 30th in Reading Yard. December 2nd i went to Allentown Yard and I saw the engines there too. I don't know why they are here. No one that i know of bought them. They are probably just transfer power.

Sir, you need to visit Chicago. To us foreign power is something made in Japan.

Right on the heels of my post last week about the BNSF SD40-2 I spotted in Hershey, PA, another foreign power sighting has taken place here in Pennsylvania. Right now it is 1:10pm on Monday, December 2, 2002. About a half hour ago, on my lunch break, I spotted a pair of Guilford Rail System engines shuffling around in Reading's Spring Street Yard. Both were geeps, one high hood, one low. They were coupled to three or four other units of mixed CR and NS heritage. This is more foreign power in 8 days than I have seen here in 8 years! Feel free to comment.
