Reply Edit Anonymous Member sinceApril 2003 305,205 posts Posted by Anonymous on Thursday, April 14, 2005 7:54 PM Hopefully somebody will save it! It's quite remarkable that it's still in it's original CB&Q paint. It's always sad to see any piece of railroad equipment meet the scrapper's torch, but I can't get over the fact that there are scrapyards that will actually cut up perfectly good cabooses. Unlike other rolling stock, cabooses are in demand from many people and are used to serve many purposes and there is a large market for them outside of railfans, railroad museums, etc. Reply Edit locomutt Member sinceSeptember 2003 From: Louisville,Ky. 5,077 posts Posted by locomutt on Thursday, April 14, 2005 6:40 PM QUOTE: Originally posted by WIAR Originally posted by spbed Why not you[?][?][?] If I had the dough I would!
