10 best places to watch the trains go by?

I've never left the east so I can't be an expert on the topic, but here are a few of the good ones I've visited. As some already said NS's West Slope, sure it may be all NS power but the action is endless. Mance,PA, CSX Sand Patch, Palmer, Mass, CSX Boston Line. Magnolia Cut Off near Paw Paw, WV. The Cut Off is one of those rough and tough place to photograph, vary remote but the scenery is great.

I live in Kansas and I live right beside the UP main line going North Coffeyville sub I think. I was wondering if they are going to double main line Matfield Green, KS.

I am a teen and I was just wondering what all BNSF is going to double or triple main line?

I would say South Fork, Pennsylvania, just east of Johnstown,but I'd be biased, as that is where my parents were born and raised, and where I spent alot of time with my grandparents, as a child. 1.) Cresson PA
2.) Dolton, IL
3.) Elmhurst, IL
4.) Greenwich, Ohio
5.) Palmer, MA
6.) Anywhere around Selkirk NY
7.) Fostoria, Ohio
8.) West Chicago, IL
9.) Readville (Hyde Park section of Boston) MA
10.) Kharkiv Ukraine Train Station, main east west line between Moscow and points west Kiev, Ukraine, Poland, Germany etc. Very busy place.

Fostoria is about 3-4 hrs away from Pittsburgh(depends who drives) another good spot next door is Deshler. Its where the willard sub(east/west) crosses the Toledo sub(north south).former B&O lines. You get alot of traffic coming and going on the southeast wye from either line.You also have 2 other wyes that provide good shots too.

Haley Tower in Terre Haute Indiana ....Not only can you watch from inside a real interlocking tower witting just 40 feet off the tracks, but we now have a new viewing platform.

Fostoria, Ohio. Great junction with the CSX Colombus Sub (North/South) and the Willard Sub (East/ West) plus the NS Bellevue line. Usually up to 150 trains a day but sometimes more.

Anywhere between North Platte and Gibbons Jct. Nebraska. Stay on Hwy. 30, it parallels the line, and you're always between 100 & 200 feet of the track. This is Union Pacific's main line and hosts anywhere from 100-140 trains a day.

I know that Rochelle, Illinois is one of the top places to watch the trains go by, is there another place in the United States where you can watch those trains go by, the places I would like to go is Fort Worth, Texas, Omaha, Nebraska, Hutchinson, Kansas, Denver, Colorado, Kansas City, Kansas/Missouri and Los Angeles, California.
