Then cold for the week end and Monday.

And in the summer you have Canandaigua with its "Shed" theatre and all kinds of performances.

QUOTE: Originally posted by Mookie Joe: I was just amusing myself last nite thinking I might like to get out of the ice we always get and move some place more to my liking. Let's see: California is either burning or drowning. East Coast gets their annual bath and debris scattering. Texas suffers from horrible humidity, which is probably almost as bad as ice. (Houston Ed has some places that might not be so bad...) Daughter lives in Bemidji - couldn't pay me enough to live there. Deep freeze and snow up to your tutu in winter and mosquitoes the size of birds in summer. Now the Ohio Valley isn't doing so well. Deep south - well, it should just be left unsettled. Lived in Oklahoma - don't like tarantulas in my front yard and spending several nights in storm shelters. Modelcar may have a spot - haven't investigated that yet. Colorado is where most of the state of Nebraska moves, but there again - snow, snow, snow and like AZ - getting too populated! Upstate New York and Maine - haven't investigated those yet - but Tree and Randy could fill me in. Still pretty cold and close to the annual mess in the east. We live in Tornado Alley - but actually on one of the side streets. Plus, unlike the rest of the world - we get warned constantly. (maybe that's why our area has people that live to be very, very old). Guess maybe there is no place like home...........maybe................. Mookie
