Can anyone explain the dust blow up at 13:15 under the last axle of the second locomotive? Eleven axles and two locomotives pass the spot and suddenly as the last of the 12 locomotive axles pass the spot, a puff of dust shows.
I'm guessing the sanders kicking off.

Some of the earlier shots on the CN were on ex-DT&I. Those arches over the tracks were former cement catenary towers put up in the Ford days between River Rouge and Flat Rock. Toward the middle there was the Michigan Central Station office tower in the background.

Did they ever have catenary hung and operating? Or did they get erected and never used?
DT&I's electrification did operate for a while and had one two-unit locomotive. The catenary supports were definitely overbuilt and were too expensive to remove when the electrification was discontinued.
I'm local so here are a few facts...
The NS 6152 was working the west yard throat at Oakwood Yard and crossing over Allen Rd/Outer Dr.
The 3 unit CN after the CP at Delray also appeared to be at Delray. In fact, the middle third of the video is all Delray.
The CP going by the MC station is headed towards the Detroit River Tunnel, less than a 1/4 mile away.
I can't place anything from the Amtrak on, other than it's probably the old GTW Detroit-Pontiac line. I grew up on the West Side and never really got into the Trunk.
Here's my editorial opinion--I was born and grew up in Detroit. I worked from 1980-2004 either across the street from the MC station (until 86) and then across from CR's North Yard. I'm not afraid to go anywhere I have a reason to be. Why people persist on hanging out at Delray is beyond me. I can see driving by to see if anything is coming, but to go out on foot is stupid.
Thank you for the replys gentelmen! I was looking into narration for the videos we are doing now but since were small and not yet a big enough brand we are not investing into narration at the current time!
