"Lot of moving parts" (pun not intended) to these kinds of things.  Probably very specific to an industry, maybe even to specific manufacturers or importers.  Nevertheless, when aggregated a trend will likely appear.  See what gets published in the Wall Street Journal, Journal of Commerce, or similar publications.

From the article: Mexico recently surpassed China and Canada as America's top trading partner, which helped catapult Laredo past Los Angeles to become the number one port in the country. About $20 billion worth of goods flowed through during the month of March — mostly automotive parts.

I wonder if this will have any impact on the ports on the coasts, as well as the Panama Canal, which is currently suffering a major drought that is affecting shipping.
