Does this sh shipper group represent anything near a majority of shippers?  Have other shippers and/or other shipper groups commented on this award?

I think precision railroading is a great idea.  But I also think it can be implemented without of wholesale disruption of service and throwing away business that has profit potential.  I look forward to comparing overall earnings and investment approval of NS and CSX five ears from now, and also the outcome of UP's plan.

It is one of five rail shipper organizations, this one representing the northeast.

Sounds to me like they should have given that award to whomever it was that started to try to put CSX back on the right track this year.

Unfortunately from media reports Atlanta's Tilford yard is not reuseable ?

If you tank up at lunch you don't have to worry about cooking dinner.  Or breakfast, if you try hard enough...

Nor surprising about the mail. Received my cell phone bill Thursday, 3 days after its due date! Funny about free food... it's almost always enjoyable. The College has lots of functions,  just your standard stuff, nothing gourmet, but everyone dives in like the world is ending.

My invite must have gotten lost in the mail.

A shame, really, I always have loved free food!

The people on the ground that actually made his crazy ideas somewhat work.  Easy to dictate from high upon the mountain.  Another thing to be in the trenches doing the actual work.

It's been fun.  But it isn't much fun anymore.   Signing off for now.

The opinions expressed here represent my own and not those of my employer, any other railroad, company, or person.t fun any

I would assume that both Balt and yourself will not be attending the banquet?

They're still out there.

And remember, the guy's been dead for almost a year now.  In that time CSX has gone back and reversed a number of the negative changes he made.

Sounds to me like they should have given that award to whomever it was that started to try to put CSX back on the right track this year.

Well so much for all the angry shippers complaining about EHH.
