If Harrison was as bad as you content, why are CN and CP doing just fine?

Well CN is doing very well, in part because Harrison went to CP.  He cleaned up a very poor operation at CP.  However, CP's challenge is now to regain the unhappy customers who were lost to the competition during his reign at CP.  Fortunately for CP, a number of major shippers are captive and have no real choice.

...why are CN and CP doing just fine?

There are those who would suggest that it's because EHH left...

Except EHH has only been gone from CP since January. Certainly his protoge, who is still running the company, hasn't made any radical changes in just a few months.

But the fangirls remain.

It's been fun.  But it isn't much fun anymore.   Signing off for now.

In a word, EVERYTHING.  If he has his way, the CSX will have one donkey with a CSX logo stamped on its sides to move the traffic around the system.

CN's system exploded in size under Harrison's leadership, and CP only sold off the RCPE because it was a Powder River Entry which wasn't to be and ripe for shortline ownership.

If Harrison was as bad as you content, why are CN and CP doing just fine? In fact, one could argue that CN is the most powerful railroad in the country, reaching all three coasts. Harrison quite literally built that railroad.

Anyone know what Harrison's plans are for CSX's assets? Any clue about what he wants to sell?
