Funny, I'm having the same nightmare (except for the train.)  Maybe I should take Mythbuster Adam Savage's advice:

"I reject your reality and substitute my own."

Oops!  I woke up, but the nightmare didn't go away.

16 years ago was probably close to the last time The Simpsons was actually funny or creative.

It's been fun.  But it isn't much fun anymore.   Signing off for now.

You can always tell a COFP thread - the title is longer than the original post...

Seems to point out, That some[COFP,possibly(?)] have a different view of reality, and possibly no appreciation of History. Had he been paying attention; he would have realized that 'Homer Simpson' had predicted the victory of Donald J. Trump some 16 years, ago !

FTL:"...(The Hollywood Reporter)It was somewhat of a throwaway line at the time, but make no mistake, it was included very much on purpose.

The now infamous "Bart to the Future" episode of "The Simpsons," which aired almost exactly 16 years ago, on March 19, 2000, predicted a Donald Trump presidency..." Whistling

Hey Sam, who's Homer predicting for 2032?  I may have to put some money on that call!

reminds me of the HO Varney Dockside Switcher, the least expensive scale model locomotive kit that one could by in the immediate post-WWII years.  Modeled after the 0-4-0Ts that worked the Baltimore docks.

Well, there IS a "Supermoon" this weekend, maybe that's got a lot to do with what's going on lately.

And yeah, that's one nice little 0-4-0!  and that's one full-blooded whistle for such a little steamer!

OK, I'll bite.

Who is running the steam train?

Donald Trump I gather from the sentence structure. Or maybe he is the steam train.  It's not 100% clear.

Thanks to Chris / CopCarSS for my avatar.

a steam train running through my back yard on tracks that have not seen a steam train in 60 years in Buffalo NY. Where am I and what dimension is this?
