Have not met a poster, but met frequent News Wire contributor Steve Glischinski on a 261 trip a couple of years ago. Bought one of his books.

I have met Carl and the Eatons. And I've met several others at Kalmbach, but that came with the job.

Randy, if you get toward Chicagoland any time soon, and I know about it, you'd better let me know how to go about getting together!

Oh, when I said that, I remembered a time when I said that to K. P. Harrier...that still holds!

And Mr. Zug, you're definitely on that list, as is just about any other rail or former rail, like Greyhounds Ken.

Did I mention Norm Waterford?

I've got a lot of people I'd like to meet (and now they have been warned!):  Don Oltmann, BaltACD, Norris (Murph!), CSSHegewisch ('cause he lives so close), Sam Prest, Murray, Miniwyo, and perhaps a few others.  And, since a meeting usually involves Pat in some capacity, I'd also like to meet a few spouses, spouses-to-be, and just friends.

Nobody wants to meet me.

That's fine.  I'll just be over here.   Alone. All by myself.

At least when your alone you know who to blame for lame conversation...

We have Brian (BHanel) and Larry (Tree68) who might be able to compete.

Yes, I can vouch for seeing eye-to-eye with Dave.  Hopefully I'll verify the same with Larry someday.

Mike, I certainly didn't leave you out on purpose...not when it would have made an even 40!  (You must not have stood as tall as Dave!)

We should have another meet-up sometime.

Where would you like to meet????

Under the clock at Grand Central, of course.

I'll be wearing a hat....

Should be easy to pick out the guy wearing only a hat.

Sounds like The Naked Cowboy, but he only hangs around Times Square.

If any of you think this is a shameless plug, it is. I've met 2 guys by virtue of my "sail to the wonderful Delaire Bridge" program, see my signature below.

One of them was Ohiorivertrails, and he turned out to be very weird and tried my patience.

The other person was one of this thread's respondents. Since he didn't post here that he met me, and hasn't yet posted the videos and photos he took, I'm worried he wants to remain private.

Free yacht rides, 27' sailboat, zip code 19114 Delaware River, get great Delair bridge photos from the river. Send me a private message

You forgot me, Carl.  At Trainfest a few times at the Kalmbach booth, should be pictures somewhere.

I've met a few others as well, mostly in Wisconsin, or some that come up here.

Just an observation. Whistling

I don't want to observe that.

I haven't met anyone but, having taken ATK #5 & #6 several times, perhaps I have seen (or been seen by) deggesty and/or Mookie? Ah, but we wouldn't know... Having spent a few times in Chicago watching (among other things) the BNSF and IC/CSS&SB rush hours, perhaps eolafan and/or CSSHegewich?

Who would I like to meet?  Let's see here.  Juniatha, Overmod, Mookie, and especially DaveKlepper.  I'd love to hear his stories of New York in the old days, among other things.  Seems like he's been everywhere rails run.  And Lois, the Friend of 611.  I think Lady Firestorm would LOVE to me her too, they have much in common.

Then there's edblysard, 54light15, samp1943, too many others to go into.

And then there's Penny Trains from the Classic Toy Trains Forum, and others on that side.

I'd love to run into any of you.

Is that while you are driving your car?

Probably, I can't afford a tank.  Not yet, anyway.

I've never met anyone here from the Forum, but have had some interesting "Message" conversations with some of the other posters.

I'd love to run into any of you.  Maybe someday. It'll probably happen at a train show somewhere when I'm in a conversation with someone and drop a "Firelockism."

"Hey, aren't you...."
