Well here is the short story. Yesterday while walking from one room to another I managed to stub my second toe on a bookshelf. I have done it 2 or 3 times over the past 5 years. As usual I went to work. While at work it hurt (wonder why?). [}:)] It hurt worse as the night went on. When I got home after work I checked it. It was beginning to swell pretty good then. It was also about 3 different shades of red and under the toe nail it was blue. It swelled more during the night. Late this morning I went to the doctor where they x-rayed it. He told me it was broken. So I am off work for a few days waiting for the swelling to go down and some pain to leave. I have a nice supply of pain pills. Maybe Dan and I should get together. We could have a pitty/pain pill party. [}:)] [;)]

And YES it does HURT. [:(]

DON'T TRY THIS AT HOME. [V]

Jim - my deepest, no farthest down - yeah that's right - sympathies. I broke my little toe - it just wandered off and ran into a concrete downspout by itself - no help from me. That is so painful - sounds like what happened to you. That's why you must wear shoes all the time - so toes don't wander.....

Jim: Bob and I have been gone for a few days. Sorry to hear about your injury! OSHA will be requiring that you wear safety shoes in your house from now on! Be careful that your bookcase doesn't file a lawsuit against you for injuring it with your toe!

Yeah, I might go over to the Roseville loco shop with camera in hand and visit with my buddies too. If I play my cards right ,I might even get to make a couple of hostling moves while I'm there. It pays to have friends in the right places.
