The combat railfans are alive and well. We will be having a large Octoberfest this weekend Oct. 18th if in the Phoenix area. Our website is outdated but you can find our page on FB. We still have great parties trackside and exploring the rails of Arizona.
They were stuffed into white autoracks and sent to Beech Grove.
It's been fun. But it isn't much fun anymore. Signing off for now.

The 'Combat Railfans of Arizona' used to be quite active on the rec.rails newsgroup. There is a web page for them, but it has been 'stale' for years:

They seem to have parties out in the desert by the SP mainline and shoot off sky rockets! Since I do not look at newsgroups now, I have not kept up on their antics.
