Murphy Siding rdamon The dealer wanted $600 to change my headlight bulbs in my 2011 GMC Acadia. $300 was for the HID bulbs (found on Amazon for $35) and $300 was to take my front bumper off to change the bulbs. Ended up doing it myself by by removing the panel inside the wheel well and blindly replacing the bulb. Maybe some of the Vega engineers are still at GM ;) Local dealer wanted me to make an appointment to leave her Prius for a whole day because they would have to take off the front bumper in order replace a headlight. I changed the oil on our cars until we bought one that was too close to the ground for me to get under it comfortably. I also replaced the throwout bearing on a Chevrolet pickup.

Well, sure. You go to the doctor, who tells you you have such and such a condition which will involve an expensive course of treatment. Until he finds out your insurance won't cover it, at which time he gives you a tube of ointment and tells you to apply it once a day...
Interesting,I have heard of them but never seen them. Frisco did develop the tri-level auto hauler with Chrysler plant in Fenton, MO, great success with that, one was donated to our MOT by Frisco and employees were given a pic of Frisco loaded unit train of only auto racks pulling out of Chrysler plant. I have Dad's copy. I see pic on the link of a Frisco car that was a verta-pack and that surprised me, never saw or heard about them in connection with Frisco, only SP.
