CP+NS logo contest

Steve Glischinski's Nov. 18 blog post on what possible names a Canadian Pacific-Norfolk Southern combination could take brought some startling possibilities. Of course, that got us thinking: "What would the logo for that look like?"

Luckily for you dear Trains readers (and especially for us artistically challenged editors) the Trains Art Department developed a list of possibilities displayed below. They are the brain children of Tom Danneman, Rick Johnson, Scott Krall, and Drew Halverson.

Seeing these ideas is fun, but what's better is that you get to choose one logo to be printed in our February 2016 issue.

How? Well, the art guys have agreed to mock up a locomotive with the logo that gets the most positive comments from Trains readers by Dec. 1. That locomotive with the logo will be the center of our news section. Just comment below. Feel free to share with your friends.

Let us know what you think! — Steve S.
