Your Favorite Class 1

    My favorite is Burlington Northern because I grew up with Burlington Norhtern in Chicago along their 3 track mainline to Aurora

    I think it best for your poll to either name all of the major railroads of the past or keep to the currently existing list. As far as Texas is concerned, from the past there is no Cotton Belt, no Texas & Pacific, no Missouri, Kansas, and Texas, no Missouri Pacific, no Rock Island, no Denver and Fort Worth, and no Frisco on your list.......... Only Southern Pacific and Santa Fe.....

    I voted for CP rail, but am also a big fan of BC Rail (not on list)

    For "modern" Class 1 I voted for (what's left of) Conrail.
    For all time favorite Class 1, I vote for the PRR.
