I'd like a little respect!!!!!

I was working on a project on my layout and I need 2 signals to complete the project. Now the last time I was at my local hobby shop I looked around to see what was available in stock (just trying to get some ideas) and they didn't have very much. I suppose I could have ordered them but then I would have to make another trip uptown to the store when they came in. So, I decided to contact
N.J. International directly and just have them sent to me. I checked the website and then I made my mistake. I was foolish enough to inquire if the address on the website was where I should send my check. Instead of a simple yes or no I get a smart reply. What is wrong with a company that treats its customers with a lack of respect? They make a fine product, but with that kind of attitude I will take my buisness someplace else!!

It's often the case with companies which are alone in their field as they tend to offer minimal services, feeling that you need them and can't go without them. However,it may also be the case of a "smart" employee, that too exists.

This could be true. If I were you, I would find out direct contact info with the company. Write them or better yet, call, and try to get a higher up if not the head honcho. Be polite and respectful, but let them know the type of response you got. One of two things should happen:

1.) It will happen again in some form or other. (In that case I would tell everyone in every venue I could think of, and let them know you will be doing just that. ) or,

2.) They will practically fall all over themselves to make things right and apologize. Might even get a good deal out of it.

Good luck.
