Rolling stock storage boxes

Can anyone suggest a place to buy boxes similar to Athearn, MDC, etc. for storing rolling stock? I have tried finding business card suppliers (the 500 card box is fine for smaller cars, the 1,000 card box good for most others) as some of these are very sturdy boxes - but had no luck. I have searched the web looking for two piece storage boxes with no luck. I need to buy at least 100 of them as I have aquired many pieces through the years that did not come with a box. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanx,
Mike

Mike;
Check your yellow pages for a box or cardboard box manufacturer.
Alternatively, call Athearn or MDC or AccuRail.....

I have used cigar boxes with success and with the resurgence of popularity of cigars most shops will give away the boxes ... of course your models WILL take on a certain aroma.
For smaller cars I have used the boxes my blank checks come in. And the ReBoxx firm offers some alternatives.

At train shows you`ll always find someone selling cardboard boxes that are a little over the size of your rolling stock or locos.They have a foam pad on the bottom and are compartmentalized.They come in different sizes for the number of cars you want to store.They`re inexpensive too.

A-Line also sells a storage system for cars and locomtives with divided boxes and a nylon tote bag.I have well over 100 cars with no where to run for now and am considering this system. The price quoted in A-Line literature seems reasonable for a safe and portable system. DT,Pa.

Love Box Co. (www.lovebox.com) I know it sounds like a porn site but they are for real. :) What I've used is a 12 gallon plastic crate with hinged lids (Lowe's $5.97), sheet cardboard cut for a custom fit and 1/4" foam sheets (HVAC supplier $15 for a 3'x25' roll). You can make your own dividers, lay a sheet on top of each layer and keep going. I get about 40-50 cars in each crate and you can stack the crates without fear of crushing anything.
