If you meant "Which railroad do you model?" the answer is UP and Santa Fe. If you really mean "which scale do you use?" the answer is HO.

I generally use an architectural scale. I do have an engineering scale when looking at site plans.

Or do you mean in printing? It depends on the sheet of paper I'm printing too. I often use 3/16"=1' so I can fit a drawing on smaller sheets of paper. Some building officials require 1/4" scale.

Since I do a lot of mailing, I have two postage scales, a 16 oz. beam scale and a 5 lb capacity scale for parcels.

There's a scale in the bedroom for measuring human weight, but it is seldom used.

Or do you mean the famous Muddy Creek Poll Scale for rating the silliness of polls?

Here at the house I use the one in the bathroom, it's like the one my Doctor used to have (he now has upgraded to a digital marvel so I use that when there) it's maybe forty feet from my layout that's predominately BN with one each Chessie and Santa Fe power, all in HO. [%-)]

For me it's the PRR, Ma&Pa, and WW&F. I assume since the original post has been edited, I have missed the confusion.
Enjoy

Yah, me too. I mean the confusion. I model Rio Grande big steam, with a generous helping of SP and a smattering of Western Pacific, Colorado & Southern and Great Northern. Somehow they all wind up in the Sierra Nevada's of California (don't ask). Oh yah, it's WWII, so I've borrowed some steam from N&W, Pennsy and C&O. Beasts from the East. What the heck, it's MY railroad!

I must have come along too late. It seems pretty straight-forward to me. I had to vote oOther because I model the New York Central: early 40's, steam/diesel transition.

The roadnames that I have on my freelance HO layout are:
The only real "Southern Ry", GM&O, N&W, and L&N. I do have a leased Union Pacific Challenger that use to show off a lot by taking the pasture siding, but after a belly flop off Mt. Toohigh, has settled down to be a very dependable worker.[^]

My layout is loosely based on Southern Pacific's approach to the Sierra.
The mighty Santa Fe makes its presence known here, but Southern Pacific is the main player.
Also theres a smattering of cool eastern stuff I was able to afford for some how.

I voted none of the above! I can't believe that you didn't include the New York Central and Hudson River RR, or the New York, Ontario and Western. Not to mention the New York and Penn Yan RR. What is it? You don't like New York, or what? Sorry, just kidding....... I freelance my own made up RR the Seneca Lake, Ontario, and Western with interchanges with the others mentioned as well as the Northern Branch of the Pennsylvania RR during the USRA period in the 1920's. [:D]

Ray Seneca Lake, Ontario, and Western R.R. (S.L.O.&W.) in HO

We'll get there sooner or later!

I voted for BN which is my main focus with some UP and SF interchange work, in HO. I also am starting to do RR,s in my state, Maine. Like MEC, BAR, BM.

I don't know what the others are getting all upset about. I never saw anything in the poll even remotely asking about scale or gauge. However, the list WAS rather limiting. Where are all of the post merger RR's like BNSF, CSX, and UPSF? Also, how about those who model an area/division that handles more than one railroad like the Cajon Pass? Also for our upset Canadian friend, I'm sure the host didn't know there were so many Canadian lines. I know I didn't. I always thought there only just two. Oh well, we learn something every day, don't we.
