Welcome to this forum!  Welcome

We are primarily HO and N-scale modelers here.  Is this a Lionel HO scale model?  If it's O scale, you should probably check out the Classic Toy Trains forum.

In any case a drop of CA (cyanoacrylate or Superglue) would be my suggestion.  Be careful.  It sets quickly so you must set it right the first time.

GN24:

Do you still have the box it came in? There should be instructions with your engine.

Since nobody else appears to want to tell him, I will:

If this is a driving wheel that has slipped, you MUST quarter it correctly AND KEEP IT QUARTERED THE WHOLE TIME THE GLUE SETS UP.

'Correctly' on a toy train means 'the same angle between pins that the other two driver pairs have'.  It does NOT mean you have to make all three pairs perfectly 90 degrees.

Now go over to the Classic Toy Train community and they will have a wealth of advice on these engines...
