what scale has the three bars on the track[?] Is it G-scale?

i used to go to an irish neighborhood in northern manhattan in nyc that had three bars on each street. oh! you mean rails? probably o scale or lionel.

Three bars??? If you mean three cross ties, it's probably O guage sectional track. If you mean three rails, it's still probably O guage track.

Lionel O gauge track has 3 ties and 3 rails. Atlas makes a three rail track with more realistic tie size and spacing. There is also scale O track which has two rails and realistic tie size and spacing.

I like the 3 Irish Bars a whole lot more, forget the rails.[:D]

You need at least one rail to rest a foot on.
