Welcome, Are you in Austria or Australia? I get them mixed up, they are so close together. plus 45C. ??? we are waiting for MINUS 40C.(Canada) it's only minus 18C. now. Let's see some photos of your early (bizarre?) Aussy steam locomotives, hope you preserved a few, and does anyone make specific Australian railway models, would love to see a complete setup of a layout.

Hello in Australia, from California- My wife and I spent a couple of weeks in Melbourne in October- she lived there for twenty years and loved it! I can see why- great county, and great railways (we rode the Puffing Billy- and I was treated to a tour of the engine shed there). I visited a large hobby shop in Melbourne and was rather disappointed in the selection of Australian prototype trains- there were more British prototype trains than anything else. I had hoped to purchase an HO gauge model of a Melbourne tram- any version- but none were available. I will try again next winter! And welcome to the Forum!

Hi people im a newbie here from Autsralia was just wondering if there are any fellow aussies tagging around on here??
anyways im 21 and have had a model train set since i was about 6 and have slowly added to it over the years.. its nothing special... although the train set has been packed away for the most part of about 6 years now as i found an interest in my car which i am now gettin over... im thinking about ripping the train set back out and doing some major work on it so i joined this forum. and having experience with fibrgalss as a result of my work with the car i should now be able to do alot of my scenery layout using fibreglass and filler as the base... i dont know what most people use but ive drawn a few sketches and came up with a quite an easy way of doing it just using fibreglass...
anyways i hope i can learn a bit from this forum and get to know a few people along the way
