I'm not sure what the numbers are that proto 2k used for the Conrail units, but in the Withers SD60 book it states that the SD60's built in 1989 for Conrail were numbered 6843-6867. To be sure I would highly recomend the book, I used it as a bible for my SD60 modeling.

Also I have applied ditch lights to a couple of my Proto 2k SD60's and I didn't have any problems at all. (I only wi***hat they lit up.)

MR reviewed this model in Oct 2000 and it stated that Conrail did buy 28 of the units that EMD started producing in 1984.
Reference is made to "The book EMD's SD60 series by Diesel Era(Withers Publishing) contains lots of prototype information including rosters.
Hope this helps.

Does anybody know the actual production date of the two conrail numbers that proto 2000 put out. I am trying to find out if those actual numbers came out before 1994 or after 1994 to help with placing ditch lights on the engines
