The N-Trak How to Steam book has just been updated and reprinted and contains a lot of current data.

Yvon,I'm sorry but I can't help you as far as book titles are concerned. However,I believe I can help you to do whatever you wi***o do with your locos.I own some of each brands you named and have dismantled a few for either collecting parts, fitting decoders or modifying/repairing them.I have purchased quite a few used locos dirt cheap, some not running, that I have either brought back to life or tore down for spare parts. On top of being a cheap way to build a roster,it is also a lot of fun.
Even more,if you are who I think you are,I can help you in french.I now live in Quebec city but used to live in your area a few years back.If you wi***o contact me,you'll find my email in my profile.Jacques.

One source used to be various Ntrak how-to books. Many of them are now obsolete, since they dealt with old models. It contained articles from older Ntrak newsletters. A subscription to the Ntrak newsletter is worth the $5.00, and may lead you to other folks in your area that can answer your questions.
I haven't seen the new "Getting Started in Nscale by the book folks at Kalmbach. It should be an update of the old Nscale Primer. Most Nscalers of the 70-80's probably had a copy. Your LHS will be the best source for these type of publications.

Yvon, looks like you're not having much like in the reply department. Let me see if I can help as I've been doing this for 20+ years in N. I do not know of one central location where you can find the information you need. What is the main reason for wanting to take the loco apart? If it's to add a DCC decoder you can look at various web pages and see if there are any locos listed that you are interested in taking apart. If it's to clean or do a repair I'd still look thru some of the web sites to see how they got the loco apart to add the decoder. That should at least get the shell or boiler removed. From there you can see the internal workings and carefully disassemble the rest of the loco.
If you are talking about steam, you may want to consider one of the N-Trak books that are available that describe Steam locomotives. They have a lot of data in them that may help.
At the very least, most new loco manufacturers put an exploded view of their engien in the box. That should also give you a start on disassembly.
Good Luck,
