I got my decoder and it works but, not well.
here is a problem http://www.tcsdcc.com/info/anbachman.htm but not my problem the train just jets stupid forgets to respond cant stop wont go that same chip in my atlas aem-7 or proto 2000 works great how can this be I have left setting at the default and the 2-6-6-2 kinda works but look out for drunk drivers whan this thing goes willie nilly


do I need to dump more cash for a booster and its not just the bachmann 2-6-6-2 its the bachman 2-8-0 also
this dh123 works fine on most my fleet

ok now I was told that the dh-141 is not made and that I can use dh-163p 6 fuction(27.50 sh 6.50) or the dh-123p 2 fuction (18.95 sh 6.50)
ouch I dont even know what this loco has, may not need 6 the 2 may be fine????

this has to be one of bachmanns best it easly negotiates the small 18's I had!(setting up 100 22's)

The 2-6-6-2 locomotive type (which apparently wasn't named, at least no name is listed in the "Guide to North American Steam Locomotives", while types like Consolidations, Mikados, and Challengers were) is to me one of the cooler types, in no small part because it was often used in long coal drags through Eastern Coal Basins.

Some one was giving you hassles for your spelling.

As for the Decoder, Get the decoder I told you above with the NRMA wiring harness and it will just plug right in to the locomotive.

hey bachmann told me to got to walthers to get the DECODER info thay dont make them (hey did I get yelled at)

its was late and my keyboard is under plywood from the layout

The DN142 and DN121 are N scale decoders. They will work in an HO engine.

Digitrax makes a very dependable decoder. It might not have all the best features that you can get in a decoder. But in my opinion its the best bargain for my buck. And since I am finishing up college, that is a very important consideration.

hey thanks grayhound I was starting to think the thing was a joke
but is that the best non sound card I see I can only flip one light with the command 2000 (paid but do not have it yet [:(]} I was going to get 2 ( I have 2 of the new bachmann 2-6-6-2 also have two 2-8-0 same maker} whats the deal with the digitrax is it the best decoder I see tonys has the one I mentiond for like $22 or so but at some point I will try to go for that NCE Corporation power pro if the price dips below 200 and will try to get decoders that can keep up but thanks for the info I was going to have too get 1 of each till I got the one that worked (J/K) hey I got a pile of loco's sure thay wont go to waste I was hopeing at the The Tech Model Railroad Club of MIT (thay have a open house sat http://tmrc.mit.edu/) I can get some deal someone got stuck with 100 decoader I just know it B -
