Notice the limited selection of roadnames, only 5 of the 10 offerings, that means they are almost sold out, and that is what Trainworld does, makes their money quick in the beginning then unloads what is left. I've gotten some great buys over the years on stuff few others wanted. Like undecorated Proto FA2 sets for $60 a set years ago.

I mean I would think the NYC and PRR scheme ones would be fairly desireable...my guess would be that Trainworld bought a significant amount more of those that they thought would be more desirable just to find out otherwise.
Maybe those who wanted a PRR/NYC E7 found out how much better the Proto 2000 ones were and avoided these. Who knows!
If Antonio is going to strip the paint, it shouldnt matter which paint scheme one to get.

Well yes it is hard to know how many of each they bought. But they are sold out of CB&Q, B&O, the other PRR scheme, UP and ACL.
ACL is the one of those I would have thought to be less popular, but they may not have bought a lot of them. They likely bought a lot of PRR, NYC, CB&Q, UP and even B&O. Now its time to clear out the rest.

Thanks for the additional feedback. Those prices are impressive! Good point Charles as the roadname would not matter since the carbody would receive a "bath". I've found that the simpler its paint scheme, the easier a unit is to strip. So I'd likely target either a Burlington or Milw unit.
I did a little online research and according to a modeler who owns a switcher with a Soundvalue decoder system, the horns on his decoder are: WABCO E2, Leslie A-125/A-200 combination, and Nathan P3. Didn't mention how many bells are offered. Of course, there's no gurantee that this is the selection being offered for the E7.
I"m thinking that I may be better off buying a straight DC unit and, since it's likely that it will already have the space for a speaker and be already equipped with a DCC plug connector, installing a TCS or LokSound setup.

Great Northern Fan 54My E7 has arrived. And I am very pleased, it has good sound and run well. The Shell looks nice and it's easy to do work on. My only complaint is that it has Bachmann Couplers. Overall I am extremely pleased
