Hi Kevin,

Yes although those classic cars were actually part of the "Staten Island Railway" which is not physically connected to the rest of the NYC subway system. New Yorkers refer to them as subway cars, but officially they're called "Rapid Transit Railcars".

The Whitcomb 65 ton locomotive was produced in three versions.  The straight and angled cab sides and the high cab version.
