 The Article calls for a 2200 Ohms, 1/8 W Resistor, part  #292-2.2K from All Electronics.  I checked on line at www.allelectronics.com, but no resistor of these specifications or part number exists.  Please advise.  Thanks.  Jamsheed

Try another online electronics supplier like Mouser.  It should not be difficult to find a resistor of those characteristics... or components for a series or parallel combination capable of the necessary heat dissipation.

eBay has 100 of them for $8.99 at the time this was posted: search on 

IRC RN55D2200F MIL-SPEC PRECISION METAL FILM RESISTOR 2200 Ohm 1/8W NEW Qty.100

You can use 1/4 or 1/2 watt instead. Also, if you're searching for 2200 they're usually listed as 2.2k
