Psx-ar powers up in operating configuration with only D12 lit
Posted by tb123102 on Saturday, February 23, 2019 4:18 PM

When I power up my psx-ar in operations configuration (pins 2 and 3 covered), only the d-12 indicator light comes on. The D7 indicator light is off. No power is output at J2 to the reversing section of track.

When powered up in programming configuration (pins 1 and 2 uncovered) the D7 indicator light is lit and power is output at J2.

Both PSX-ar’s have developed the same problem after a few years of use. I use the NCE Power Cab. Any suggestions?

What about if you only have the power input hooked up and disconnect the wires to the track? That at least would pinpoint the problem to the PSX-AR itself, or the track wiring.
