Is there a product out there that will help to make sure that both points on the sl-99 throw correctly? By this I mean that there are 3 valid positions for both switches in the sl-99 and 1 invalid. Both switches can be thrown left (route trains to the right), both switches can be thrown right (route trains to the left), or the inside switch thrown left and the outside switch thrown right (route trains stright). I want to see if there's a stationary decoder that can throw both switches so that only these three scenarios are possible. If the inside switch is thrown right and the outside switch is thrown left, they are pushing against each other and will cause a derailment.
Yes, many of the stationary decoders support routes, which are a combination of point positions. You would then define 3 routes for the valid options, and instead of using the individual switch machine addresses, you use the three route addresses to set the points.

I have a couple of these on my layout and I've never had a problem with derailments or "points pushing against each other." I use Peco machines to drive them and control them with toggles.
