No problem.The voltage on those power packs is the unloaded voltage.
Slightly higher voltage will operate the coils faster. Never hold down the button if the turnout hangs up. Too easy to burn out the coil if the button is held down. Has happened to many over the years.
No a problem using the Snapper or any CDU though.
Get a Circuitron Snapper for positive operation.

I have Peco turnouts and just purchase Peco switch machines. They say to use 16 volts to power them. I'm building a DDC layout and thought I would use the accessory side of DC power pack. My question is that the output of the power pack is 18 volts will this harm the 16 volt switch machines?
