And it really doesn't matter which wire you attach the resistor to.  However, for consistancy, I usually solder it to the blue (+) or common wire.

The paper work with the decoder spells it out.

Now I know why they will not light up.........and I do have a 1k ohm resistor for both the front and rear.

Blue wire is positive. Be sure to use resistors with them.

Hi,

I recently installed a TSU-750 decoder.......and can not get the SMD LED`s to work.

 

Question is .......is the blue wire the postive + , or the negative - ?
