Tsunami decoder
Posted by rdgk1se3019 on Sunday, January 5, 2014 6:05 PM

Hi,

I recently installed a TSU-750 decoder.......and can not get the SMD LED`s to work.

Question is .......is the blue wire the postive + , or the negative - ?

Blue wire is positive. Be sure to use resistors with them.

Thanks,

Now I know why they will not light up.........and I do have a 1k ohm resistor for both the front and rear.

The paper work with the decoder spells it out.

And it really doesn't matter which wire you attach the resistor to.  However, for consistancy, I usually solder it to the blue (+) or common wire.
