I have a PR3 with a 7 year old laptop running WinXP. No issues at all.
the pr3 is a better buy, even with the needed wallwart power supply, and does so much more than the locobuffer
Hi,Jerry ,my notebook is 8 years old and the system is Windows XP. I will only use them for the model railroad.
There's very little TO program in MTH locos, but my PR3 in standalone mode programmed mine. It also programmed QSI and Tsunami decoders.
If you're not going to use the PR3 for standalone programming mode, just get the Locobuffer. The driver is registered and signed so there are fewer problems installing it.

Hello,my system is Digitrax, and I have an older MS 100 PC-interface,but this is not compatible with JMRI and DecoderPro!
So I will use this programms, but my question is: Can I use the PR 3 from Digitrax to use it?
