BNSF4

the T1A is a 2 function decoder now if i got the T4 witch has 2 extra functions would you be able to do isolating ditch lights?

Yes, The T4X is a good decoder for this.  This setup will allow you to use the original board later for a sound decoder.

Complete pictures of the install: http://www.tcsdcc.com/Customer_Content/Installation_Pictures/HO_Scale/Athearn/Genesis%20SD60M/Genesis%20SD60M.html

You won't find a better decoder for the price.

Get a TCS T1A (no harness) and plug it into the 9 pin plug after removing the dummy plug.
