That was my take on the matter, too. However, a guy who makes high-quality passenger car models thought otherwise. I guess you can't even trust the experts all the time. [:(]

Both ends. If the car is running vestibule first on the rear of the train, you don't want to have someone opening up the door on the blind end and winding up between the rails.

Did passenger cars have folding safety gates at both ends of cars that had only one vestibule or only at the end with the vestibule? I'm particularly interested in CN coaches.
