I guess.  It would take a lot of kit bashing to change those cars.  Like I said earlier, the length isn't bad, but those ladders and running boards would have be dealt with, along with the connection to the next car.

Well i moved my Ethanol plant. The problem was that I was going to do a point to point layout but after 2 weeks of going back and forth i decided to just make the layout all around the 12 by 22 ft room. This will allow just way more running for all. And the Ethanol plant would not allow that where it was. So I took it down. It was not that much work really. All the pipe racks were not glued in yet and the pipes are the biggest time consuming part. The former Ethanol plant will become a coal area. Here is a pic of the new plant' still much work to do. You can see my new Athearns Ethanol RtR cars. They were a decent price unlike the Genesis Cars' Have to say $130 for 3 tanks cars is insane. I like nice stuff and have many nice cars but wow. You can see a ST NW SD40 Pulling them. Will post more later, Thanks for looking.

I've never seen a unit ethanol trains with the "TankTrain" type connection or configuration.

They were long since all retired befor the advent of commercial ethanol plants.

They're still out there, just not with the big TANKTRAIN logo on the sides.

The bright light is fine for construction, but when it comes to painting and decorating, you will want to do that under the same lighting conditions that you will view and operate the layout under.

Unless you make a SUBWAY layout, then all of the other stuff can be painted black... : )
