Football Stadium

If anyone has seen where I could find a football stadium for my layout, please let me know. Going with N-scale, but any scale would be fine. Thanks!

You are probably going to have to scratch build one but how much room do you have. The field itself is 340' long (120 yards) and that is almost 4' in HO. 8' would probably be needed. I want the order for people attending the game!! Let's see 60,000 time 10 cents apiece would be $6000.00 Where do you want them delivered? [:)] I think I would use a digital picture on the backdrop of a stadium in the distance. less space and more realistic in forced perspective.

And if your watching the Chicago Bears, well, it's not even worth the 10cents.

For Soldier Field, get yourself a punchbowl and a 1/200 model of the Parthenon. Build the Parthenon and place the punchbowl in the center. Add seats, grass, overpriced beer and a crappy football team, and presto! N scale football stadium!

Were the little guys that came with the 1970s-era electric football sets about HO scale? Now building one of those games into a layout would be a hoot!

Prototypically, you should be approaching the city council to get the taxpayers to pony up the costs of your new N scale stadium. Play your cards right and the taxpayers pay , but you still own it and can sell it at a huge profit.

Won't mention any names but we all know of one guy who did it. [:)]

You might want to include a small speaker to play college fight songs, "Hail to the Redskins" or the Buffalo Bills "Shout." [:D]
