Which version are you speaking of?  There were significant differences between the '70s or '80s production runs (which I have one of), and the more recent ones.  Although the shells are probably similar - Rivarossi ads touted improved detailing for the newer version - the motor and drive were/are very different.

I don't have access to mine for the next couple of weeks, but if nobody else anwers I will look then.

yours in geared steam

Heisler Help
Posted by yesterdaysradio1 on Sunday, October 7, 2007 6:58 AM

Hello,

Does anyone out there have the exploded view of the Revorissi Heisler? HO Seeker does not have the information. I wish to Install DCC in this engine. I have done many installations, but am not sure how to remove the shell. Any help or suggestions.

Jerry
