Guys,
Very soon I'll be applying 1"blue foam to 1/2" plywood. What is the best adhesive for this? I'm looking for a quality product with ease of application, permenante bond and possible low odor.
Thanks,
Vince
I just used cheap latex caulk - it's been down for almost 2 years no with no issues
Welcome to the forum, BTW.
EDIT - Oops, you've been here since 2006 - sorry.....welcome anyway.
Vince,
I used Titebond 2 yellow wood glue, thinned down so I could apply it with a short nap roller. Once the glue was spread, I positioned my foam sheets and then used all of my old Walthers catalogs to weigh down the foam until the glue dried. I recently had reason to remove a small section of the faom and believe me, it was stuck down really good!
Remember to peel the plastic film from the foam before gluing it down!

Research; it's not just for geeks.
I use Liquid Nails for large areas and Elmers for small spots.
So far so good.
