Large scale sound

Who makes a good large scale sound unit? Not really looking to go DCC, but I will if I have to. The loco is a 45 ton Bachmann Spectrum that is DCC ready. I was hoping maybe someone made a DC sound unit that used the NMRA socket. Any chance?

The only one I'm aware of that will operate on DC or DCC is the Phoenix Sound System.

 Hi  Cacole is right pheonix is a good sound card, I use it in my Bachmann 2-8-0 sound is very good and unit is easy to wire up

You might tru Sierra also. They have a sound system that is specified for a West Side Lumber Shay.
