Large scale sound
Posted by GearDrivenSteam on Monday, May 21, 2007 1:18 AM
Who makes a good large scale sound unit? Not really looking to go DCC, but I will if I have to. The loco is a 45 ton Bachmann Spectrum that is DCC ready. I was hoping maybe someone made a DC sound unit that used the NMRA socket. Any chance?

The only one I'm aware of that will operate on DC or DCC is the Phoenix Sound System.

You might tru Sierra also. They have a sound system that is specified for a West Side Lumber Shay.

Here is a link to the steam sound samples page: http://soundtraxx.com/products/sierra/sound.htm
