No snow, no ice.  Few evergreens, just the butterfly bush and the yarrow are green.  Seems I'll have to make an adjustment to the plant plotter for next year.

Here is a current pic- see if you can spot the chicken and Spliff the Wonder Cat.

Winter is more than just cold, snow and ice...





If your live in zone 6 or higher, there’s no excuse for not having a winter garden.

More than half of my garden is in blossom or green and I’m at the cold end of zone 7 (7a in N. Va.).

Daisies do remarkably well in winter



as do sub-shrubs



and conifers



Ferns and mosses thrive and are at their peak



and winter heather even blooms!!!!!!
