I live in an area surrounded by horse and cow farms. It has inspired me to include these elements into my layout. I am having no luck in finding horses and cows for my landscape. Does anyone know of a source to purchase these items?
Thanks for the help.

Much will depend upon the scale you are working in. Northern Tool Catalog has several pages of construction and farm equipment models ranging from 1:25, 1:50, & 1:87! There are a few in 1:32 also.
Your local tractor stores are another place to try, as well as Southern States or other farmers co-op! They usually have the models of whatever brand they sell!
I haven't seen a lot of farm animals that would work well in our scales!
If you go to the large scale train shows you will have a better shot at finding what you want. There were 4 or 5 different dealers selling that stuff at last year's ECLSTS!
Tractor Supply Company Stores sell numerous plastic farm animals that are suitable for Large Scale.
They have a website.

Ridge Road Station carries the Schleich line. Most of the pieces are 1:20 scale but some of the smaller animals like dog, chickens and rabbits look oversized. The prices are very good and RRS is currently offering free shipping on orders over $25. Lots of toy stores carry this line including Target. But the online price is better and free shipping.
