It should be required that newbys read the stickys before they can do any posting, would save all hands a bunch of grief; and make those who do the stickys feel that thier time was not wasted!
I am in several fora and the stickys were helpful to me, and prevented me from getting those embarrassing shots ( I can handle that very well on my own without asking questions that are already answered, thank you!)

Bill, it might seem strange until you realize that I don't subscribe to this magazine yet because I only became interested in this angle of Model Railroading a week or so ago, and I haven't dropped by my hobby shop yet.

Um!! This is a somewhat strange posting for the "Garden Railways" magazine forum seeing as how the magazine prints a club directory in every issue? The October issue lists six clubs in New York state.
