Garden Railways Club Directory
Posted by Benjamin Maggi on Saturday, September 16, 2006 10:12 AM

Is there one available, either online at some site or published in some magazine? Specifically, I live in Albany, New York, and want to know if there is one around where I live.

Thanks!

Blush [:I] Um!!  This is a somewhat strange posting for the "Garden Railways" magazine forum seeing as how the magazine prints a club directory in every issue? Evil [}:)]  The October issue lists six clubs in New York state.

Bill, it might seem strange until you realize that I don't subscribe to this magazine yet because I only became interested in this angle of Model Railroading a week or so ago, and I haven't dropped by my hobby shop yet.

Bill,

Not all of us are GRR subscribers.  I don't subscribe to Trains either but I post on their forum occasionally.

Ah, but Vic very kindly pointed out that it is indeed covered in the links and stuff in the sticky!   He did it very nicely too!

It should be required that newbys read the stickys before they can do any posting, would save all hands a bunch of grief; and make those who do the stickys feel that thier time was not wasted!

I am in several fora and the stickys were helpful to me, and prevented me from getting those embarrassing shots ( I can handle that very well on my own without asking questions that are already answered, thank you!)
