Try SR Batteries, you should be able to find them on the web. I used their Ni-Cads for years for flight packs and power packs, good people, great products..... I'm giving you this tip with out varifying if they can help you, later on I'll check on them myself and see if they can supply you with Ni-Hyd type batteries....

If I can help with your battery needs. In NIMH, please call. *** @ battery tech central.com 800-267-3087. Just remember I may have questions for you. Question? Would like to build G scale over my spau, new incloses back porch. Where can I find information on hanging platforms for track bases, wood, metal, fiberglass, etc. Would be interested in running (2) tracks. Have you seen any good hanging equipment also? Not sure about AC/DC but have a good supply of batteries. How much time does one get from a pack and where does it reside in the train. Is there a weight problem her also? Most very large pack, placed in a car can have some weight.

[:o)]The best battery prices in the entire world are at www.batteryspace.com. 2000ma "AA" cells for just over $1.00 each in lots of 24. No foolin'! Chargers, too. I just battery powered a Bachman Climax (my first electric-I'm a confirmed live steamer) with 10 cells. The thing runs 1 1/2 hours on a charge pulling 6 cars. These batteries are extremely durable, and the smart charger they offer for $49.95 will charge this home made pack of 10 cells faster than the locomotive can discharge them. This charger may not come with instructions. If this is the case, BE SURE to attach the magnetic temperature probe to your battery pack. The unit will charge so fast (2 amp rate!) that without the temperature probe in place, the batteries will fry. Go look at www.batteryspace.com soon. There are new bargins every week. Check out my Climax conversion at www.geocities.com/steamrocks/rivendell.html and go to 'locomotive roster' then click on the Climax title below the photo for technical detals.

Hey guys, I have a question for everyone. My friends is about to start a web store that sells NiMH battery and chargers, and he wants me to find out what is a good price for the products. RadioShack sells 4 2000mAh NiMH batteries for $29.99. Now would anyone be interested in buying if my friend sell them at $9.99? Thank

Try American Scientific Surplus. I've been buying 3000mah NiMh batteries from them for about $1.75 per. Some have solder tabs, others don't (luck of the draw). These units are just slightly larger than a standard "AA" battery. So far I've had good luck with them.
