i agree i have some ac that don't look good next too usa the ac is higher unless its been lowered. my goal is too sell my ac and go usa 100% some day.

Steve, even with the MTS onboard, the LGB's wil still run with traditional power controllers. Just make sure your T/E is in linear and not PWC. LGB locos tend to not like pulse width.

On the new car issues, I'd like to see some modern/semi-modern elevated trains/subway cars. It would save me a lot of heartache trying to build one from scratch.

That's the idea. You can install a decoder or run it right out of the box with your good old transformer! LGB's idea is to give the buyer a choice.

The Genesis locomotive is an attempt to make LGB quality available to every consumer.The engine has been designed based on previous Lehmann German designs. It will come with an "open interface" so that the existing consumer can install MTS and the new LGB customer can install DCC. All of the design engineering was done here in the United States to be consistent with previous Lehmann locomotives. LGB is attempting to be more consumer oriented. They want to hear what the U.S. consumer wants and react accordingly.

The new Genisis is supposed to be "in the vicinity" of 1/29, no way to be sure until they ship and someone takes a ruler to it. But its definetly not 1/32 and at under $300 I firmly beleive it marks an acknowledgmet from LGB that Aristo and USA are definetly hurting thier bottom line and they are beginning to fight back.

With the new LGB Amtrack Genisis coming out this year, theres been a lot of hankering for Superliner cars in 1/29. First manufacturer to produce those will clean up! [8D]

well i have two add passenger car's too my wish list now. didn't want any before be cause my railroad wouldn't handle atsf aba and 8 pass cars my acl choice was 5 pass cars acl never had vista dome that I know of. but now with the B&O abba I just got to have the 5 passenger car's I can run abba 5 cars aba 5 cars aba 3 cars ab 2 cars ab 5 cars.
now were to get the funds. got a mth hudson rail king O set with up grade sound and a
sd 8/9 with proto sound. any takers?
